If you have a thing that is nearly ready and has been nearly ready for four months, this one is for you.
Until We Have Real World Data

Rachel Minion is head rock star at Rockstar and Moon, a RevOps outfit built for consultants — her description of the problem she solves is that “quite frankly, everyone gets stuck in the mud.”
“I think, like all of us, we all want it to be perfect, right? But there’s no such thing. So until we have real world data, just get it live. Just get momentum. Just see how it’s landing. Because if you wait until it’s perfect, you’ve already missed the bus.”

The phrase to sit with is real world data. Everything you believe about the thing before launch is a guess, however confidently held, and no amount of additional polishing converts a guess into evidence.
If You Wait Until It Is Perfect
Minion’s framing is generous — she includes herself, “like all of us” — which matters, because perfectionism usually arrives dressed as diligence rather than fear.
The tell is whether the next change you are planning to make is one a real user asked for, or one you thought of yourself. If it is the second, you are polishing, and the bus is leaving.
What Good Enough Actually Looks Like

Ours, not Minion’s. Good enough is: one clear description of who it is for and what it does, one way to say yes, and one way to reach you. That is a launchable version of almost any service business.
It is not: a logo you love, a five-page site, a brand palette, a scheduling stack, or a name you have stopped second-guessing. Every one of those can be added after the first real conversation, and several of them will be better for having had it.
Reading The First Real Responses
Minion’s instruction is to “just see how it’s landing.” Landing is a specific thing to watch for and it is not the same as praise.
Watch what people repeat back to you in their own words, because that is what your description actually communicated. Watch which question comes up more than twice — that is the thing missing from the page. And watch what they try to buy that you did not offer.
The first few responses will not be a verdict on the idea. They will be an edit of how you are explaining it, which is the more useful thing anyway.
